This wine is from the winemaking team at Baron Philippe de Rothschild, famous for Château Mouton. This Pauillac is made with wines from the family’s three Grand Cru Classes and matured in oak barrels for eight months.

Volnay is traditionally the most feminine and elegant of the Côte d’Or red wines. Louis Jadot only ever buy grapes, so they can control the whole process.

Barolo lo Zoccolaio, Domini Villa Lanata - Italy
Ripe blackberries, cherries with an underlying smoky earthiness reminiscent of a bonfire on an Autumn day. 13.5% abv
Estates in the area traditionally only use large Slovenian oak barrels to age the wine. This wine, however, spent some time in French oak as well to add a different dimension before ageing in the Slovenian barrels for a further three years.
